Ganymede appears to possess many ocean levels, stacked up with layers of ice between them. The best volume of ice is the crust, which might be about one hundred fifty kilometers (about 90 miles) thick. The lowest ocean level can be 800 kilometers (about five hundred miles) down below that, just prev
